While it has all the makings of a great AirBNB, great location, good Sunshine Beach house close to great coffee and restaurants, nice winter sun on the deck in the morning and in Master bedroom. HOWEVER! it has missed the mark by not being kept in good condition and not presented well. I know things don't always go right and I am very forgiving for things breaking etc, that is life, but this was something else. I love Air BNB and have been really spoiled by great people who love their place and really take care of their guests. So it was a real shocker to turn up here and find half a lasagne left in microwave, soiled and stained sheets(none spare had to wash before use that night), dirty carpets, broken armrests on one sofa and two bar stools with seats falling off from lost screws. main floor bathroom door handle missing, roller blinds in Master bedroom, 3 of the 5 don't function and could not be rolled up. TV room sofa old and worn seat cushions. Downstairs bathroom also not flushing correctly. No TV remote, no wifi as advertised, no parking garage as advertised, broken light bulbs. Shall I go on? Had no response from Brit the first night to these issues and had to wait to hear from the housekeeper when she turned up later the next day. Perhaps a real estate agent runs it and the housekeeper was really the only contact person available for us to go through however many people may be involved in this property to take care of things and authorise replacements. She tried hard to help. The result was no internet the entire stay after being told it would be 24-48 hours, no TV remote for 5 days, no remote for parking garage for several days. The only dining table was outside and for winter that doesn't really work. If the furnishings are updated and everything is working this would be a good house to stay. One day we forgot our keys and we only had to wait a short while for the housekeeper to organise a spare key and come by and rescue us! We are very thankful for that!
